kimmi was just along for the ride and her jury status has been far overhyped. hopefully this will come out at FTC because if you are looking for who played the most proactive game it was by far jeff. personally he was better socially with me as well but i dont know how you all got along with them.

On a personal level, I got along great with Jeff. He stayed up one night just to talk to me when I was having trouble irl and I appreciate that. My problem is, I guess, is that him (and by extension, you and Kimmi) were so reluctant to work with me and Carter that I never truly got a glimpse of what he was actually doing in the game.

I'll make sure I put my balls next to a radiator so I can plop em on the table big and juicy at FTC for you.

he and i played similar games, although i admit he was far superior socially to me.

when we got swapped to the same team at new kirati we knew we were in the same boat. keith was basically useless and we knew we would end up having to team up with either the rai members on the team or the old kirati ones and pick the other side off. it happened to be beneficial to us to team with rai, especially after richard was so forward about voting for lisa. it was a golden opportunity.

then when we would merge we would team back up with kimmi/tina and also have our rai alliance on the side. the plan was to dominate the game this way but when people wanted to vote out tina at that first tribal (and kimmi being adamant about voting Stacey) it made jeff and i flip to the side with guaranteed numbers. our core alliance was the madhesi 4 and we did our best to get the other sides to destroy each other.

of course nothing was ever easy and the road was far bumpier than it should have been. but if you look at it from jeff's angle the game plan was a complete success. nobody plays flawlessly but he was open minded and adaptive. strong socially. no angles were left uncovered when strategizing with this man. like i said i see kimmi as more along for the road. she had jeff tina and i looking out for her constantly and sending her who to vote for in group pms. all the times she narrowly escaped the vote it was because of nothing special she did in particular, but what her alliance was doing for her.

since i am the only member of the madhesi 4 on the jury, i have to tell it like it was. because you all didnt experience it firsthand.

Of course. I was just laughing in real life because if things had gone differently, it could've been me, Carter, and Denise in the F3 after pagonging all of Madhesi and Rai. Wow, that seems like such a long time ago now. But I guess it would've never worked out because I don't think there's any way Tina would have stuck with us.

That's interesting though. But like, what exactly did Jeff do in particular that Kimmi didn't also do? Were your votes really so one-sided that it was just Jeff being like 'okay, let's vote ___' and then you guys just voted whoever that was?

Jeff wrote me off for most of the game, while Kimmi continued to socialize with me. That's all my real basis for voting Kimmi over Jeff.

I can understand that Jeff had a lot of ideas and plans but he was never successful in executing them.

no jeff didnt bark orders or anything. it wasn't like that at all. he and i mainly just bounced thoughts and ideas off one another and decided who to vote for. what the ramifications of the vote would be. how we could use this to our advantage in the round ahead. etc etc

one of us would say something like "im sure kimmi would be cool with this" because it was just assumed she would always be with us.

then we would ask her, and it would be cool with her.

i wont devalue that kimmi didnt throw forth an opinion every once in a while. but mainly she just agreed to everything we offered her. why wouldn't she? she was always a guaranteed vote on our side, and she knew we were going to be loyal to her. just saying if you are looking for someone who did the bulk of the strategizing and was the more methodical and thoughtful game player it was by far jeff.

but yes just ignoring people isn't smart. so that could definitely be a knock against him if other people had similar relationships to him that chris did. and no he wasnt always successful but by association neither was kimmi then.

It seems to me Kimmi didn't care what the decision was because it didn't matter.

Maybe I'm also in the minority of people who Kimmi spent time getting to know. Seems like the Natalie White kind of strategy.

Shhh, the Hosts can see this thread and they only like Russell-type players.

I think I want to hear their answers at FTC before I vote, honestly.

I'm warming up to the idea of giving Jeff the win, he and I talked a lot and he did seem like a very good guy, plus he actually won a few challenges, and apparently he had just as big an impact on the game as Kimmi, hejust spread his influence around to fewer people than Kimmi.

Then again, as long as it isn't Tina, I don't give a shit who wins

Yes, you will be given a deadline when voting is final. We encourage you all to leave pre-votes that can always be changed :) Things happen, people forget about FTC, etc... so you never know and it doesnt hurt to pre-vote!

Just to throw my two cents in, I can't speak for Kimmi since I barely got to know her, but Debb's story corroborates what I knew about Jeff. Of course, he never trusted me that much, but he tried to help me evade the final premerge vote by throwing around a lot of ideas--he was brilliant about it, great strategic thinking. I saw a little bit of it again postmerge, but he mostly hid that from me. He was absolutely always trying to think of the next best move, from what I can tell.

I'm sure Kimmi could've been just as strategy-oriented if she tried, but the question is whether she did try. The difference that I definitely did see, though, was hardly anything from Kimmi and great social game from Jeff. Funny that we had different experiences there.

Buuut I'm not making a final decision til FTC!

Don't speak of that, you make me cry. Freaking Madhesi. Just makes me wonder what it would've taken for Chris and/or Rich to stick with us for it (bc I think you're right about Tina). I WOULD'VE GONE F3 WITH YOU GUYS! icon_evil Because ilu Ang and Carter, but no one stood a chance lol <3

I guess this is like our general talk thread now, so I'll just post this here. I started on new medication today and it may have caused me major heart problems so I probably won't be online for the next few days. I'm going to the ER in a few minutes to see if I'm having a heart attack haha. I'll try and post after if I'm okay or not.

Yeah, tell me about it. It feels really weird too. Like this really painful stabbing to my heart. It is a side effect of the medication though, so they said I should wait a few hours before going to the ER. :/ Thanks though babe, it means a lot <3
