Well, things did indeed calm down...for a moment, anyway. After I'd had the last word with Hayden and Ramona and neither of them deigned to reply for DAYS, I decided concretely that that ruse was over. I love my Kiratis too much to stay away, anyhow
Thankfully, Kimmi and Tina both seemed solid in staying with their new tribe, and we all started bonding. My hinting to Jeff that nuKirati wanted to bring in him and Debb--completing the 4 Kirati + 4 Madhesi union--apparently intrigued him, but he still didn't provide a solid answer.
Soo Sunday rolled around and I got on midafternoon, expecting to talk a bit but be able to do my actual work, too. HAHA pls. I was constantly talking to everyone for like 4 solid hours, trying to strengthen ties new and old and figure out the plan. Jeff was waffling more than ever, so we were all freaking, concerned about a tie and idols and crazy new plans popping out of the woodwork. I pushed Chris to PM Jeff, as Jeff had been worried about the lack of exchange there. Idk if that was a lynchpin or what because FINALLY, like five goddamn minutes before TC, Jeff agrees and asks who to vote for. While I thought they were deciding together, Debb had agreed herself maybe 20 minutes prior? So we'd been feeling a little confident with that, but Jeff clinched it and we got to walk into TC with heads held high and smug, anxious grins barely constrained.
It was a calm tribal, though, everyone still tiptoeing around and clearly not wanting to give anything away. That all changed when we sent Stacey as the obvious, non-incendiary boot, and yet she still managed to burn shit up on her way out with her MO of calling everyone ugly fats and binches, etc etc. That is indicative enough of how badly she needed to be taken out of the game. Unfortunately, we still have to deal with her stinkeye from the jury, but we're all assuming that she won't be poisoning anyone since every person here knows how insane she is. The only thing of concern is that she still loves Ramona, Hayden, and, bizarrely, Kimmi, so that'd be one vote lost for the opponent should any of them make it to FTC.
There was plenty of self-congratulation within Madhati, as I coined our alliance (the Mad Hatter, ok, shh), everyone excited to have been on the good side of the first merge vote/blindside. And to be fair, we had every right to be excited since that is just an awesome group of eight. In our private PMs, Debb seemed sincerely happy to have sided with us, as Rai hadn't been showing her much respect. Jeff was fairly quiet, though, which worried me regarding his intent to stick around.
Overall, everything was still new and a little crazy, but it seemed to be going in the right direction...this sounds like some super melodramatic event is about to happen and shift the game lol, why am I writing like this. I NEED TO SLEEEEP
