Madhesi: They are planning on purposely tying the vote between Stacey and Artis. Don't ask me why. I think they think Stacey has an idol but that still doesn't mean they have to intentionally tie it. It's going to be 3-3 Stacey-Artis and they told Artis they are voting out Tina so he's prevoting her. They are hoping Stacey leaves in the tiebreaker which they seem to think Chris is going to break (at least Angie does) Madhesi is the one to watch tonight.

Ah OK. I was mistaken. The immunity bearer breaks the tie, so if there is a tie tonight Chris or Jeff will break it. I thought the rules said that the other tribe broke it but it was who has immunity that does it.

I am not totally caught up on all the inner workings of things, but boy, Denise really didn't try to stay did she? Jeff offered her a real life-line possibility, but was she just paranoid about not trusting him? Too shell shocked from her position? Didn't want to appear desperate?

Last season they wouldn't tell me what happened if there was a tie,, I kinda assumed it was the same way. I didn't really read the rules here so idk what it says.

That's kind of bullshit though. How do you strategize when the rules of the game are a secret? The rule says this:

- In the event of a pre-merge tie, the immunity bearer (including tribes) will always break the tie breaker with a final vote. There will be NO REVOTE.

That's why they thought Chris would break the tie.

I think it was clear before the double boot in the event of a tie, the other tribe would decide, so this is the logical offshoot of it.

There should be a high price for a tribe that can't come to a decision, so I don't mind it.

I do think they got way too cute trying to teach Artis a lesson. Chris was a poor ally for him.

A number of people on Madhesi were told in advance of the tie-break rule (which was actually wrong of me to do, but there you go), including the loudest voice complaining about it - Tina. So there's really no excuse here when the people complaining knew the rule ahead of time.

Artis leaving was tragic, but that's always the way the tie was going to be broken.

And hence why she didn't want to cause a tie? She would have had nothing to lose though...
