Pre-Season Assessment

Kirati Tribe

This is our serious tribe. I tried to balance it out with some goofballs and fun personalities, but for the most part, these are our serious players. There are plenty of threats to win on this tribe. I see them doing very well in the game. I could totally see them being perpetually 2nd place in the challenges. I think though, that might make the most boring of the three to watch, at least in the initial stages. I'm hoping that the Zanes and Carters and Angies bring a little spice to the tribe and shake shit up. Either way, it should be interesting to watch.

Angie - In our pre-season casting, Angie was an immediate standout. Her app was amazing, I even told her it was the BEST app i have ever had. EVER, in the 22 season of Stranded. Then when we had our initial interview with her, she exceeded those expectations. She was really bubbly, fun, on top of being strategic and smart. She has a lot going for her. I think, especially on her tribe, she adds a lot of personality to a very serious group. One thing of concern, she said that she had internet problems last week and also a personal issue that had kept her from pre-season training. She will be active during the game, i just hope nothing outside of it takes her out of the game. Otherwise, I would say she’s definitely in this for the long haul and going early would be a crime.

Artis - Artis is my winner pick this season. I think he’s probably the most mature and capable of the players this season. He’s got a great head on his shoulders. What impressed me more than his application was his one on one interview with him. He was very inquisitive and also PICKED Artis. He had a few options that would’ve been maybe a better choice but he purposely went with someone who had no reputation so that he could do whatever he wanted with the character. To me he’s already thinking about how things work, what the next move is. I see him being a dominant force on his tribe for whatever reason. I suppose he might play the background, but… I really just for whatever reason see him being the center of an alliance. A powerful one…

Carter - I put Carter in this group because he was a really eager younger player. I see him as the young kid trying to earn his stripes in the game. I’m hoping he goes for it hard. In my talks with him, he was much more energetic and eager than in his application. That’s actually the reason I ended up casting him. If he comes across more like he did in his one-on-one, then he’ll do really well here. If not, I’m afraid he’ll sink into the background.

Chris - I think of the returning players, Chris will do the best. He’s a smart guy, I’m slightly worried he’ll be too behind-the-scenes, like he was in his first season. That didn’t work well for him then. I think he needs to be a bit more forceful and I’m hoping he’s learned that over time. We’ll see. I also think that this tribe in particular is going to benefit him. I really see it as an older more mature strategic group. That’s totally where Chris fits in.

Denise - Denise is another one that’s in the mature, strategic group. I feel like she’s going to do really well if she gets into the right alliance. I could totally see Chris, Artise, Denise and Lisa teaming up and doing VERY well here. She’s also a female, asian, gay, and a psychology major. VERY excited to see how she does here. She seems very likable and my one hope is that she doesn’t get stuck in the background because that would lead to her becoming a definitely f3 goat. I would hope she’s ballsier than that. Might take some goading from the players.

Lisa - I actually don’t have a clear idea of what Lisa will do here. I think she obviously has the potential to be amazing. Like… Really amazing. I think she will be calling the shots in whatever alliance she is in. Because of that, I could easily see her winning this season. My only hope is that she isn’t a boring winner. I’d rather see her go out in a blaze of glory than take a safe win just cuz. I’m a little worried about her in that regards. I think a lot of Kirati has the potential to become background finals goats. Just hoping they don’t.

Zane - I think of all the Kirati members, Zane (along with Angie) has the most personality. I tried to mix the smart and safe players with the crazy and young players to hopefully extract some fun out of them and add a wildcard into the mix. While their best chances would probably be for Chris/Lisa/Denise/Artis to team up, I’m secretly hoping they don’t and pepper in the goofballs into their alliances. I think Zane will be a glorious train wreck and I’m so excited to see how he does. Hoping he doesn’t disappoint in that regard.

Madhesi Tribe

I think the Madhesi tribe will be a hot mess, and also potentially challenge whores. Which is my favorite tribe type of all time. Think about it, a crazy ass tribe that wins all the time? love it. I think Papa Bear could be ostracized early on and everyone making him the early target which could be really boring OR could be very interesting. Will he make it? would become the early storyline for them. However, there are a lot of people i could see working well with him individually. I think that there area lot of really strong characters on this tribe. Of the three, this is the train wreck tribe. They could surprise me and all of their quirks gel fabulously and they win challenges together but I don’t know. I can’t see it from them. Really loving all the characters on it though.

Debb - God I want Debb to succeed. I’m secretly hoping this could become the season of the hags and thus my favorite in the history of Stranded. She of course has the potential to become one of the best characters. I’m hoping for the best at least. If she goes out with a whimper it will be SOOOO disappointing. I just can’t see it though. I think she will do well, she seems like a smart player with a good sense of humor and just that added kick of crazy that makes a Stranded Legend. Hoping for the best.

Jeff - I’m not sold on Jeff, but his app was incredible. I think he’s got some spice to him. I like that a lot about Madhesi. I think we could be in for some massive bust ups. I think Jeff could go one way or the other. He could be an amazing character who’s really personable, feisty and in the mix. OR he could be shocked by all the huge personalities on his tribe and be stunned into the background. I really think he and Papa Bear will team up for some reason.

Keith - Keith’s going to be fun to watch in this. I think he’ll be out to prove something about how smart he is strategically and that means alliances galore. The problem with Keith is that I’m afraid he will be gun shy about being in control. That may mean that he gets shoved to the background quickly especially with all of these big personalities. The jury’s still out on Keith, but I’m hoping for the best.

Kimmi - I don’t have huge hopes for Kimmi, but they’ve applied a lot, very eager to play and that’s always a good sign. I’m hoping that Kimmi proves herself here and doesn’t fade away. I think giving her this rep will help a lot. I think she might be forced into the spot light a bit and that might be a really good thing for Kimmi. I just would hate it of she faded into oblivion, that would be my biggest fear. It’s a very big possibility.

Mad Dog - Mad Dog is one of the players I’m most looking forward to. You all know I love my haggoddesses. I’m not sure how she and Debb both do together on the same tribe, but I’m secretly hoping they team up and make the most epic alliance in Stranded history. Hey… I can dream, right? Aside from being out there, I think Mad Dog is actually a really good player. I can see her doing real big damage in this game. Nothing would make me happier than crowning Mad Dog as the winner of this season so I’m really expecting big things from her. Let’s see how she does.

Papa Bear - Oh my. Papa Bear… one of the most controversial and aggressive players in the games history. He’s known for being fucking insane, making final 2 alliances with everyone and then leaving out of the blue never to return. Well… I got in touch with him on Skype and he is IN. He wants back so much and he said he had some personal issues that pulled him away but that’s over with and he’s ready to pick up right where he left off… Yep, RIGHT where he left off. That means he plans on doing more scheming, more f2 alliances, more backstabbing… everything! That means that he will probably go early on this tribe of sharks, but I’m hoping for the best because it will be VERY entertaining. I’m thinking he could possibly pick up player like Jeff/Keith/Kimmi and run with them if they aren’t instantly pulled into a tribe alliance against papa bear, which is a very VERY likely outcome. Also, players like Debb and Mad Dog might be entertained by him so that’s a plus. I don’t know, I still think he’ll be pre-merge, but we can only hope, right?

Tina - Tina is a player. I think she might be boring, but I think she has some serious strategic chops and has the potential to be great. I’m really hoping that these players that might be boring, actually step it up once their in the game and get into the vibe. It wouldn’t be the first time… a lot of people have surprised the hell out of me with boring apps who brought it once the game started. It’s just hard to tell. I’m hoping that’s the case with Tina. My fear, is that she would get overwhelmed with the drama queens on her tribe.

Rai Tribe

Rai is kinda the goofball tribe. We have really odd personalities, but really big ones as well. Richard and Ramona are the standout gamers on this tribe. They are still probably up for a laugh though. I think Rai could be in trouble when it comes to challenges, that’s my biggest fear for them. However, I do REALLY like everyone on their tribe. I think they’re all REALLY likable. This will be the fun happy going tribe with maybe some drama peppered in through the big personalities. Overall though, really an entertaining group IF everyone is active.

BB - BB is an absolute nut. Like forreal. In our pre-season chat he told me to find him on Skype and that he was the one “with shit smeared on my face.” When I told him he’d be BB he was all about it. If Greg Buis was available he would be a shoe in for that role. Of course, he wasn’t so BB is the next logical choice. I think he’s going to be a lot of fun if he can show up . The problem with the wild-card crazy players is that they’re sometimes flakey. When they show up, they are fucking money, when they don’t… not so much. I’m hoping BB is in the former category and we could be in for a treat.

Hayden - Ugh, my favorite. I really think he will do well on this particular tribe. I’m not sure if he will do well in the game as a whole. I think he’ll probably go late pre-merge or early jury. I’m very excited to see his return though. A little Hayden is better than no Hayden… and let’s be honest, we all need a little Hayden. He’s so much fun and I think he’s going to add a lot of that to this tribe in particular.

Jenna - I’m really probably most excited about Jenna on this tribe. Well that’s not true, there are several on this tribe that I’m excited for. I just think she’s really bubbly and talkative and very excited to play. She really sold me on it when I interviewed her. Her app was kind of a snoozer but I think at the end she said she liked milk and that gave me a glimpse that she didn’t take herself too seriously and could be a lot of fun. Luckily her interview went really well and she was super excited to play. I think in this she’ll be the heart of her tribe potentially. This could be a goofy group.

Ramona - I really loved the app. It did seem like she might be a bit on the boring side, but there was so much thought put into the app that I really could see her being a strategic powerhouse in this. I think if she plays it right and doesn’t hide away too much from the limelight, then she could potentially win it all. I really am rooting for her and this rep in general. I think she’s a good fit for the role and should do good things if she plays hard enough :)

Richard - One of the stand outs in casting. I’m really hoping that translates to a great player in the game. He’s so entertaining. Even in our one-on-one he was talking about idols and how they worked in this and if he could make a fake idol. A FAKE IDOL…. PRE FREAKING SEASON. Instantly I knew we had our Hatch. His app was amazing, his interview was amazing, I have no reason to believe he won’t be amazing in the game. I’m hoping it translates and he doesn’t disappoint. I think he has the potential to run the tribe if he plays his cards correctly. He certainly is the most capable on Rai.

Sean - Sean is one of my pre-season favorites. I think he’s so entertaining and just an honestly nice, funny dude. Instantly when he mentioned Sean Kenniff in his app I knew it was KISMET and he HAD to be on this season as Sean. On top of that it was just a really likable app. I think he has massive favorite potential. I can’t see people clashing with him. My one fear is that he’ll get lost in the shuffle, maybe won’t adapt well to the game or be very active. I don’t think that will happen but it would be one way he could fail and not be what I expected. I do see great things from him though. Here’s hoping!

Stacey - Oh boy… get ready. Stacey is going to be one of the cookiest and most fun players of the season. I hope her tribe is accepting of it for her sake. She could be seen as the easy first target. I’m hoping not. She has a lot of entertainment to offer, and I think she will be a stand out and a legendary character in this game. If she can just get into a solid alliance she’ll stand a good chance. Honestly, this tribe is probably the best for her in that regard because they are a little cookey as well. I could see her easily fitting in with BB, Jenna, I could see Hayden getting along with her as well.

Episode 2301
"Dead Man Walking"

The Rai Tribe, although it isn’t as bopping as the others, is my favorite. I think it just has really genuine people on it. Most of them are new, but that’s okay, they are bringing a different flavor to the game. They went to council first, as predicted, but hopefully they can rally and win some of the non speed/skill based challenges as those cater towards vets. I really love them all for different reasons, so i’m hoping they don’t lose all the challenges.

I’ll start with Ramona who was instantly my favorite on the tribe. She was such a sleeper contestant who we didn’t put much weight into going into the season. However, this is exactly why I take risks when in casting. Some people just get into the game and fucking deliver, Ramona is absolutely one of those people. She’s delivered the most of anyone on Rai and possibly in the game securing herself a position as the tribe’s ambassador and ingratiating herself into the tribe. I think going forward, Ramona is going to be an all-star. Sometimes you can just tell and she is a power player for sure. She’s understated but still in everyone’s ear and she’s the freakin ambassador. I expect great things. Let’s see if I’m right.

Next is someone who we all thought was going to be a huge character, aaaand they delivered! Richard came into the season and immediately formed alliances, I mean within the first hour immediate. I thought for sure he was going to be the second coming of Papa Bear. What’s interesting is that he calmed down very quickly. I would put him on the same level as Ramona, but I think he will be a mover and a shaker. I see him going down in a blaze of glory in the merge. I hope he doesn’t fizzle and play the background, I don’t think he will.

Jenna is someone who I find both annoying and adorable. I can’t decide which will win out. That means that she will rub a lot of people the wrong way. I just hope for her that she will not be a background one-note character. I’d love to see her be the bubbly enthusiastic strategist that is in all the alliances and adds serious dimension to the season. My fear is that she will be a number in someone’s alliance and have a footnote that she’s also enthusiastic. I’m thinking the latter will happen but hoping for the former.

Hayden I think is playing it the best of all three returnees. He also has it the easiest on the Rai tribe. He’s in a solid alliance, he’s definitely not a vocal force, but he’s still getting to know everyone. He will do really well this season I predict and I could not be happier for him. i just hope he doesn’t rest in the background. I want to see him shine like I know he can and I’m afraid if he sits in the background for too long I think he’ll be targeted as a returning player and go out regardless. He needs to embrace it a bit more and be more assertive. But for now, he’s in the best spot.

Sean is someone I have huge hopes for. He was my pre-season sentimental favorite in that I really just like him as a person. Whether that translates is another thing. So far, so good! He’s in a solid alliance and he’s hooked up with some key players. He also had two days when he wasn’t here so I’m sure that hurt him a bit in this summary since there isn’t much to note. I still have faith he will be great now that he’s here.

Stacey, ugh, I’m worried. I know she can be amazing. The highlight for me was her calling out of Richard snatching BB bald during the Tribal Council. She had me rolling. I think she’ll be an early pre-merge boot, but I’m hoping she’s at least an entertaining one. She already has a formal warning for revealing her identity so she’s got a foot in the grave already, but she’s still hilarious and adds a little spice to the game and I like that. If everyone was a serious player the game would be boring as fuck. So yay for uniqueness!

And the first boot of Nepal: BB. Well, he delivered everything we expected. He was a wildcard. Sometimes they work really well, sometimes they fall flat. BB was something we don’t normally experience in that he worked out well, but also fell flat… on his face. He was a train wreck that was so good to watch. So thank you for that BB, your racist schtick that you put on just enough to freak some people out and then fuck off permanently was worth the risk I think… kudos.

The Madhesi Tribe is probably my least favorite. Don't get me wrong, they have their fair share of stand-outs, but right now nothing has been going on to write home about. The most interesting thing has been Papa Bear by far. I do think that they will lose eventually, and when they do I'm hoping they can dump some of their dead weight. Let's get on with the run down.

I'll start off with the most interesting, as always, and that's Papa Bear. I was told not to bring Papa Bear back because he out-right just disappeared at the end of Namibia not even leaving a jury vote or bothering to show up again. Many people thought he was gone never to be seen again. But a funny thing happened and I got in touch with him and found out he was more than enthusiastic about playing again. So I rolled the dice and decided to cast him again. This fool is crazier than ever and i'm loving every second of it. The fact that his entire tribe is suspicious of him, yet allowed him to be their ambassador is fabulous. I just think he's the sole pre-merge storyline that we're going to be focusing on. It's already a game of "can he get away with it?" pt. 2. He's up to his old tricks of forming final 2's and lying his teeth off. His sympathy garnering lie about being in a wheelchair has me rolling and I cannot believe it's somewhat working. It's kind of like... do you really want to be the asshole calling him out for lying? Well... you should because he's the scumbag lying about being handicapped icon_lol I mean what a fucking legend. I could not ask for more of him in these coming episodes. It's almost as if we casted Gary Hogeboom and Danni is Lisa in this situation. She knows what's up and shes targeting him hard spreading the truth about his ways to everyone. But is it enough to oust him? How long can he keep this up? I hope to the final 3, but my guess is until a swap. Still, he'll provide us with enough entertainment to carry us to the merge and for that I'm eternally grateful.

I think the person delivering the most aside from Papa Bear is probably Mad Dog. She's formed a solid alliance and is really not buying what Papa Bear is selling. I think of all the players on Madhesi, she's really the only one actively working against Papa Bear. That said, I do think it's too early for them to consider taking him out. For one thing, he's their leader, and for another he's an active and seasoned challenge performer and I just think that's going to be too big of a carrot for them to risk ousting. Especially when there are others on the tribe less active.

Probably the most social, and thus the most secure, is Kimmi. She's really playing a great social game. My fear is that she's really boring as of right now. I was afraid of that coming into the game and at least she's proven herself to be a big chellenge performer for Madhesi, but I'm still nervous that she will fall into the background. I'm hoping that this can be her one game to really shine and we will see big things from her. But right now she's just a supporting character for the Papa Bear's and Mad Dog's of the tribe.

Now moving on to the next two, I'll mention them in the same paragraph since the same things apply to both of them. Keith and Tina I thought had a lot of potential coming into this, but also I had some fears around them. I really thought they both got off to a great start, ingratiating themselves into the tribes while still being interesting and having their own point of view and say-so. However, it seems like after the first day they both tanked horribly. To the point where I had to actually replace Tina. I think new Tina will be a much more savvy player and I'm hoping she can wheel and deal like we were expecting the original Tina to. As for Keith, we all know he has it in him and I'm hoping he comes out of his shell a bit or he's going to be going home VERY soon, like... next boot or two soon.

The most interesting player who has the biggest potential to be the surprise break-out star of this season is Jeff. He's super funny, really really good at the game and in the middle of everything. He hasn't neglected anyone on the tribe, yet has his hands in all the cookie jars as well as being a pretty great judge of character. I'm really looking forward to what Jeff can bring to the table even if we haven't quite seen it just yet. He's definitley getting his feet wet and learning quickly, which is a fantastic thing to see in a brand new player.

Debborah... She's been SUCH a disappointment so far. She missed the opening weekend after missing the opening day... gurl what a fucking hot mess. The good news is that we all know the potential she has. I'm really waiting for the big Debb come-back. The good thing is that she realizes she has sucked and feels bad about it. That has the potential of an amazing comeback story. She has the skill, the credentials, and the character to rival the Stranded all-time greats such as Scout, and Teresa. Will she be able to bring it though? That is the question. I know everyone watching is praying that the answer is yes. She needs a swap badly before she can really turn this around, but if anyone can do it, It's Debb.

And last but certainly not least is probably the most interesting of all three tribes, the Kirati tribe. I knew that the hardcore serious strategic threats all seemed to end up on the same tribe and so far it's certainly lent itself to some of the most interesting dynamics in the entire game. I actually think that there are people on all three tribes that could easily compete with them, but for the most part every player on Kirati is a serious threat to win the game, and that's why I'm lumping them all together as "the strategic tribe."

I'll start with the most polarizing and domineering player so far and that's Lisa. There seems to be a storyline growing that will make up the pre-merge with Papa Bear that I mentioned earlier and the antagonist to his storyline or protagonist to the viewers is Lisa. She quickly established herself in the first episode as THE person to watch on Kirati. She orchestrated an alliance between herself, Angie and Denise and quickly got to know everyone on the tribe, for better or worse. That's not to say she's playing a flawless game, far from it, but she's certainly playing the most aggressive and strongest game right out of the gate. For that reason, she is the the center of all the storylines on Kirati and a good portion of the rest of the game. She's so entertaining here, she's really great at the game, and I think this might be a case of too strong out the gate, but I can't see her not making the merge outside of a surprise swap fuck or something to that effect. She's setting herself up as a controlling force in the game. That will mean she probably won't win, but it will guarantee her all-star status and for sure will impact the season in a huge and entertaining way.

That brings us to the next most entertaining player on Kirati, Carter. I think Carter is fascinating because he's knew and he's super eager. He's really been a standout because he's already put himself in the middle of two strong alliances, and has blended into the tribe perfectly while still remaining everyone's favorite ally. He's playing a fantastic game, and the fact that he can do this without being boring at all is amazing. I think he will for sure make some moves in this game and he's definitely not stupid. As proven with the way he handled Papa Bear. I could see him stabbing Lisa in the back when the time is right and really benefiting from that play. I expect great things for Carter... we'll be seeing him at the merge. Definitely over-delivered from what we were expecting going into this so far.

One of Carter's friends and someone who Lisa absolutely despises for reasons unknown is Artis. I actually really like Artis and I love him as a foil to Lisa. Early on we thought he was going to be a power player and a domineering force in the game. I still think that's a strong possibility but I love him more in this role. The underdog strategist that Lisa has a hard on for hating. I don't know why these two hate one another, but it's awefully entertaining, and really absurd of Lisa to be so forthright with her hatred of him. I thought they were going to be in an alliance together but that quickly evaporated as they grew to become frienemies. Now they're just outright enemies. Can't wait to see where that goes, but I'd hate it if it got cut short. Hopefully it drags out and plays on throughout the season.

Angie has been everyone's favorite going into the game and she certainly delivered on that whilst in the game. Of the new players, she's adapted to gaming the best. Even more so than Carter. She isn't playing a better game than him, but she is certainly walking the walk. She has been buddy buddy wtih Lisa and Denise and i'm loving that alliance. It's such an obvious cliquey group that I really want to know hwat happens with it. The problem with Angie is that I could see her being the scapegoat and easy target by associating herself with Denise and Lisa. I'm hoping that if it comes down to it, she can break free of them and play her own game. If not, she will be a casualty of war, and I think she deserves better than that.

Denise is a great player. I think there's no chance she is a casualty of war. She will declare war and actively fight for it and might go down fighting, but.. there's no way she's an innocent bystander. She's too smart for that. i love her relationship with Angie and Lisa and I cannot wait to see what happens when she is separated from them. She's a smart cookie and I really think she's one of the better players this season. She could easily fit in with the Ramona/Richards/Jeffs/Mad Dogs of the game so I think she will be okay no matter where she lands.

Zane started out so strong and I had such huge hopes for him. I still do, but he's kinda been slipping into the background as of late. Maybe that's a good thing for him because he was alienated right off the bat and targeted as an easy first boot. I kind of think that's a shame because i could see him being highly entertaining. I think maybe given enough time and some help with possibly forming an anti-Lisa alliance he could make a real name for himself here. He's going to have to get off of Kirati to do it though or he will soon become booted.

Chris is someone who I had high hopes for but low expectations. He's already delivering in his anti-Lisa stance, but I don't think he's reached full potential quite yet. Lisa's really got a hard-on for all things returning players. The good thing is that I think Chris knows he's on the outs here and is trying to form some kind of counter-alliance with Artis and Zane and Carter. I love it. Men vs. Women. The thing is I really love all of them so I'm hoping Kirati continues their winning streak allowing all of them to continue the feud into the merge.

Episode 2304
"Poking the Bear"

So i'm doing this a little differently. Instead of recapping hte episode, I'm going to look at the new tribe lineups and recap their journey thus far and see what the potential is for future storylines.

...BUT FIRST. I must comment on the fallen comrades thus far.

Jenna, poor sweet Jenna. I loved her! She was so peppy and fun. I think she would always be just a supporting character in this game, so I'm glad partly that she went home early. Unfortunately I think that just comes with the territory of a first time player. I think in her NEXT game she will be fucking amazing. I'm putting that on paper (cyberpaper). She didn't have the confidence or the knowledge to know that she was on the outs and that's something she will put to good use next game. Can't wait to see her blossom into a great gamer!

I was SUPER disappointed that Zane quit. I think he mightve been voted out anyway, but he was really entertaining while he lasted. Don't know what happened there, but... moving on.

I really really wanted Sean to do well in this. He was one of my favorites going into the season and I think he's genuinely a nice and funny guy. That said, i'm not sure how much he would have really added to this at all. He was definitely the one new person on Rai that was clicking the least. I don't think he would do another game, and if he did, i hope he would get it a bit sooner, but this seems like it could be a one off. Oh well.

^ LOL never got around to that. I will say thought that Papa Bear ...mmmm what a fucking legend. He delivered exactly what I wanted and expected out of him and it was so GLORIOUS. Plus he gave us some amazing stuff on the way out and pretty much MADE the pre-swap of Nepal. The wheelchair story... HILARIOUS.

I kind of see this progressing story as The Insanity of Lisa. she kinda started the game as everyone's favorite and in everyone's ear, calling the shots on all the alliances. She was on all the tribes being extremely active and engaging to everyone. Then slowly but surely seh has been losing it this game. First it was the returning player/get papa bear out thing... she went to GREAT LENGTHS to make sure everyone hated Papa Bear and got rid of him ASAP. Even to her own detriment she poisoned the entire game against Papa Bear. Then the swap happens and she's kind of blowing it in challenges, her alliances were not in the majority on Kirati even though she assumed they were, she's slowly and surely letting this very obvious win slip out of her hands and it's HELLA entertaining. It's like a doomed hero who you know is probably going to fall flat on their face but is so trying hard and so poised to win that you just cant help but look at the trainwreck in its full glory.

Episode 2307

So it's merge time and I'm going to recap a bit teh game thus far. I think we've had an interesting bunch and a fortunate series of pre-merge boots. The big standouts that I'm kind of bummed out about are: Lisa, Papa Bear, Artis and Mad Dog. They were fabulous and would have for sure wrecked the merge. I think they had a lot to offer that we didn't get to see. Furthermore I feel like Sean and Zane had a lot of potential that we didn't get to see play out and I think just a little more time in the game would ahve shown that. Jenna of course was fabulous, but I don't think she would have necessarily improved over the course of the game. I think getting an early boot was the best thing for her because it'll teach her how she should approach the next game she plays in. Who else was there? BB... well he was a nutter, he gave us exactly what we needed and all that we wanted really... Is that everyone? BB, Jenna, Sean, Zane, Papa Bear, Mad Dog, Artis... oh... Yea, that's everyone that matters.

I'm going to do a rankdown starting with who I'm most feeling and going to who I'm least feeling (Although, I really really really like this entire group so this is going to be difficult).

But nonetheless, let's get started.

I love Jeff. I love that he has an idol, I love that he's a new player, I love that he loves everyone, and I love his personality. I just think he's the star of this season so far. I also think that he's about to get a lot more entertaining. I think that everyone will soon see how big of a threat he is. I also think he could quickly end up in the minority alliance. I do think, however, that will make him MUCH more entertaining overall. I could totally see him going around f9 or f8 after maybe winning an Immunity and maybe playing his idol, which would be beyond epic. He's clearly going to be a fan favorite, he's clearly one of the favorites among the cast members and I think he's a star for sure.

Carter I think is quickly becoming one of my favorites again. It's hard because this is the point of the game where potential becomes reality. Either these people that you are investing in because they have major potential fall flat or they become all-stars. I really feel that Carter is in the latter category. I really feel like he's becoming a huge threat for people and a strategic force here. The beginning of the game for him was mostly comprised of becoming the most likable and social player, but lately he's already become targeted as a threat and I think for the right reasons. He's definitely a competitor and I almost want to see him in the bottom because I'd love to see him scramble his way out of it. I think he's more than capable of that. I think that the merge is going to break some players and make some players. Carter just may go through both of those steps.

Of course Stacey is one of my favorites, as is so for most people watching, I think. I think mostly it's because she's real and she's hilarious. She combines a bit of crazy with a bit of hilarious with a bit of fierce. The most endearing part about Stacey is that she's the perpetual underdog. She's constantly misunderstood and always being targeted. It's also become a fun game of "how long will she last" which will carry on through the merge now. I would say she's a really fun addition to the game, without her imagine, there would be no over the top characters. I think this game REALLY needed that since Papa Bear and Lisa left. Hopefully other characters will step up and become amazing now that it's merge time. Regardless, I could see her going deep, and if players are smart, they might even bring her to the final 3 as an easy win. She's certainly delivered though.
