Episode 09

You survived the first boot of the merge! Stacey has joined the jury - who will be next?

What did you think of that tribal council? Did everything go as you expected?

lol. So Carter, as you can see, I just like to make everyone think long and hard about their position... play devils advocate. That's what we're here for!

So, to make you think again, With an alliance (presumably) of kirati and madhesi, 4 vs 4... will the Rai Tribe be eliminated fully? Is there a benefit to knowing an obvious target?

Everytime you have gone to Tribal Council you seem to be convinced you are going home. Is it just Paranoia or do you have waranted reasons for believing your going home every time?

For the most part, it's been paranoia, especially since Stacey never liked me and I've been in a tribe with her every time I've gone to tribal. However, I have heard my name mentioned all three times I've gone to tribal, and received votes my first time going, so it's not like I'm completely crazy and imagining that I'm in danger, I've ha some semi-warranted worries. When I was swapped to Madhesi, I had a few friends on the other tribe, I was only with a few people that I could trust (Chris and Angie, still wasn't sure about Artis), and I was against someone who hated my main ally (Stacey hated Lisa), and I assumed hated me. As Stacey kept staying in the game, she kept her disdain for me alive, and she threw my name out a few times in subsequent tribals. I'm feeling a little more comfortable now with her out, and I'm in a solid group that I can trust with the original Kirati's and Tina, and I feel like we'll easily be able to keep one of Kimmi/Jeff/Debb on our side for the long run.

Yeah, thanks for that, Probsty, the several minor heart attacks that I've had really appreciate it

I think they have to be, especially with a person like Stacey on the jury. She is clearly not a level-headed person, and if there's someone she likes (especially if it's someone from Rai), then she'll do her best to poison the jury in that person's favor, I have no doubt in my mind about it. Getting the rest of them out will make things a lot less stressful around here, and will buy me some more time to secure the relationships that I need to secure that will get me to the end and in a position to win.

Yes, there's a benefit, because people suddenly stop playing conservatively and start getting more creative, or dare I say, desperate, to get themselves further in the game. There's a lot more of a cutthroat element between people that were tighter than my Tightie Whities, and I wouldn't be surprised to see people resorting to chaos and uncertainty rather than trust and insight to get further, otherwise known as the scorched earth or "Stacey" policy
